Info

Martín Códax Lías is the best example of the evolution of Albariño. It is made with grapes from the Pé Redondo research vineyard.

After selecting the best fine lees, the wine is aged and battonaged for 6 months, favouring the wine's volume in the mouth and giving it more amplitude and roundness. After this process it remains in reductive ageing for a year.

Once bottled, it is aged for 6 months in the bottle before being released onto the market, thus achieving greater complexity.

Visual Phase: Greenish yellow, clean and bright.

Olfactory Phase: High aromatic intensity, with citrus hints of grapefruit, pear and apricot. Obvious notes of aging on lees. Lactic and bakery notes. Balsamic and spicy.

Gustatory Phase: Wide entry in the mouth, silky and with volume. Integrated acidity with fresh aftertaste. Good aging potential.
